KLEENEZE - HOW IT ALL STARTED

1923 was the year when Harry Crook came up with the brilliant idea to make twisted-in-wire brushes. He obtained employment with Fuller brush company in America. Under the stairs in a broom cupboard he created the first wire-brush with high quality. By 1928 there was a hugh demand for his high quality of brushes so Kleeneze moved there head office to Hanham, Bristol in England. He had 200 Kleeneze branches all over the world. Kleeneze agents were self-employed, running their own home shopping business. 1930 Kleeneze made their first 1 million turnover. Harry started to offer a range of high quality polishes too.

Between 1945 and 1960 Kleeneze expanded the business to health&beauty products such as Talcum Powder, Oatmeal Bath Cubes and Toothpaste. 1959 was the year when Kleeneze first introduced 40 hours working week for the very first time. He also came up with further products and 1970 Kleeneze started branching out in network marketing.

in 1970 to 1980 Kleeneze grew even more. They were the first company who could offer aerosol and car care products. And in 1982 they introdueced the very first "Shopping at home" catalogue. The home shopping and direct selling instantly grew very fast so Kleeneze helped founding the Direct Selling Association. They were promoting ethical business practice in its industry and upholding the highest standards through a strict Code of Practice.

May 11th 2013 Kleeneze celebrated 90th Anniversary at Birmingham's International Convention Centre (the ICC). They announced very much exciting reveals and recognition.

Kleeneze is an exciting and dynamic industry that is the UK's most significant provider of part-time, independent earning opportunities and the keep expanding further to other countries as well.

1994 was the year when Kleeneze announced another expansion. They now offered high quality products to Republic of Ireland. In 2004 and 2006 they made an massive investment in both infrastructure and logistics by expanding into Holland and Germany.

2006 Kleeneze became part of Findel PLC. That is the largest direct mail order in UK. Kleeneze then moved its headquarters to a state of the art office and warehouse facility in Accrington.
